Which is better?

Well, considering we have no idea how much “milk protein isolate, Whey Protein Concentrate” is actually in Lean Body, since they add “Soy milk” which then they count into their “40g” of protein total… But soy milk is absolute cheap trash. Its doubtful you are getting the same quality protein in Lean Body as you do with Muscle Mass Pro Series. Going to give the Better of Protein to Muscle Milk here.

Then we look at the Fats. We see the Lean Body also has 7 grams of unknown fats (sunflower oil) compared to Muscle Milk’s 1.5 unknown grams of fat (sunflower oil also). Which may come from the milk isolate and concentrate, but, who knows… The High Oleic Sunflower Oil in Muscle Milk is a higher percentage of Monounsaturated Fat. Because Lean Body does not specify what kind of Sunflower Oil they use, we must assume is the bad kind (High lineoleic Sunflower Oil [Omega-6], a/k/a Lineoleic Acid), which linoleic acid is converted into arachidonic acid, which can produce inflammatory compounds, which then can lead to cancer [1]. Animal studies suggest that the arachidonic acid produced from omega-6 in the body may increase inflammatory markers and signal compounds that promote weight gain and obesity [2,3]. So, it’s safe to say that Muscle Milk is better when it comes to fats as well.

Now look at the Sodium! Lean Body has so much in it, they separate it to make it appear less. It appears they are being sneaky and dishonest… Potassium is a salt, and salt is sodium lol. So, if Lean Body was being honest, they would list their sodium at 1,040 grams of total sodium. Now, if you are lacking minerals in your diet, the shit load of minerals in Lean Body may help, but, compared to Muscle Milk’s sodium content, it’s too damn high. Since American’s get plenty of Sodium all throughout their diet, that’s just not necessary. Again, we have to give the better to Muscle Milk.

The ingredients offers some help, but not much. Look, they both contain highly questionable crap. “Natural and Artificial Flavors” is code for a pile of shit. They don’t have to list what exactly makes up their “natural” and “artificial” flavors because its copy right protected proprietary ingredients, so this is where they pile on all the cancer chemicals. All the stuff in Bold Red are been possibly linked to serious health issues. But, Lean Body takes their shit pile of ingredients to another level with adding Soy. Thus, Muscle Milk is the lesser of the pile of trash ingredients, but both have trash in them.

CONCLUSION

At the end of the day, when comparing these two products, we can assume Muscle Milk’s Pro Series Shakes are less of swamp scum than Lean Body.

That’s so disappointing too, Lean Body seems to make such a yummy product, but at the end of the day, its just cheap trash thrown together in a tasty wrapping sold at a stupid price hike for such cheap trash ingredients.

Labrada, get your shit together, and CARE about your customers.
